Your "Well-Dressed" New Year Tips #2 and #3

January 24, 2020

  1. Buy interchangeable clothing and accessories. Versatility is everything when it comes down to pretty much anything, so it can be very helpful when it comes to actually picking things out for yourself. Buy clothing and accessories that you can wear for multiple occasions. When doing this, try to look for colors that can work with anything that you've got planned for it to go with. Try black, light browns, and white for outerwear such as jackets and jeans. Use colorful accessories to brighten up your outfit and create a full look. You can also add pops of color by wearing patterned shirts, shoes, and handbags.
  2. Buy from a consignment shop for luxury items. Glitz and glamour can be therapeutic to a stressful day at work, but most come with a very hefty price tag. Instead of buying new and full priced items, you've got things like consignment stores to save you some change. If you see jewelry or a piece of clothing, even footwear, that you just have to have you have the option of finding the item elsewhere! Consignment stores always have at least 20% off on the latest luxury item you're looking for. You've just got to find it! Find your local consignment store or even seek ones further out to see what you can find for a price that's unbeatable! Be careful! Not everything is something you must have so shop with a plan in mind.
